Originally hailing from Hong Kong, Tokyo-based multimedia artist and musician Ivan Kwong expanded his role as a guitarist and visual director to bring his distinct artistic visual style into works on canvas, paper, found objects, and clothing in 2020. Also sometimes working under the pseudonym Suji, he uses a wide variety of materials and intuitive mark making to bring the feelings experienced through the cross-cultural nature of day-to-day life and personal identity felt in the immediate moment to the surface.
