Jiabao Li is an artist, designer, and creative technologist whose work explores the intersections of climate change, interspecies co-creation, humane technology, and human perception. Her creations span diverse mediums, including wearables, robotics, extended reality, performance, scientific experiments, and installations. In her TED Talk, she unveiled how technology shapes and mediates our perception of reality. Jiabao is an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin and the founding director of the Ecocentric Future Lab.

Jiabao's work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as the Venice Architecture Biennale, MoMA, Ars Electronica, the Exploratorium, Today Art Museum Biennial, Milan and Dubai Design Week, ISEA, Anchorage Museum, and the Museum of Design.

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including Forbes China 30 Under 30, the iF Design Award, Falling Walls, the National Endowment for the Arts, STARTS Prize, Fast Company World Changing Ideas Award, Core77 Award, IDSA Award, A’ Design Award, Webby Award, Cannes World Film Festival Award, and the Outstanding Instructor Award. Her research has been published in leading academic conferences and journals, including SIGGRAPH, CHI, IEEE VIS, and Nature sub-journals.

Jiabao is also the Co-founder and Chief Design Officer of Endless Health, a venture-backed health tech startup. At Apple, she spearheaded the invention and exploration of new technologies for future products, including the Apple Vision Pro. Jiabao earned her Master of Design Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, with Distinction and a Thesis Award.
